May 19, 2009 - Check out the new Digs!

April 2, 2009 - Major Site Upgrade Coming Soon!

It's been a fun couple of months tinkering with html. A few of my lucky fans have already gotten a sneak peek at the next iteration of the website. All of the upgrades that I have been working on are about to go live very soon. In the next couple of days you might find that the page looks different or is down for maintenace. No worries, when it is is back up it'll be brand spanking new

I've been testing a variety of new features and display options. Be sure to comment often and vote

I'll be archiving this website so if you miss the awesome design you can still go back and visit it. I'll post the link on the first day the new site lands. Also check out CONTROLLERPUNCH.COM, if you haven't already

April 30, 2009 - Friendly Neighbourhood Font Edition

I've had a few request for the my header font. Which is awesome, because once the fiction section is up and running you might need it to see everything as the designer originally intended

DampfPlatz

To get this font running

Right click, "save as" and unzip

Open up the file, copy what's inside

Paste files into your Windows "Font" Folder

March 25, 2009 - I hate Football Edition

I'm a bit behind in posting this but here is a newish article

http://www.thegameraccess.com/2009/03/sony-to-surpass-madden

March 24, 2009- CYLONS STRIKE BACK EDITION

The new fiction section was about 75% done until a spelling error caused the entire subdomain to go in flames. I have to build it from scratch all over again. I currently reconfiguring the entire database to get it back up and running again. Unfortunately, this means a further delay for the all writing to get posted. No one is more upset about this than I am

March 20, 2009 - PIXEL FIX DESIGN EDITION

Here is our first T-shirt design for the Merch section. The actual image is much cleaner than the image above but thought we'd give you a taste of things to come

March 17, 2009 - Phone Booth Edition

I miss pay phones. They were a viscreal part of the urban landscape while I was growing up. Part political soundboard, part communication device, part toilet: the pay phone was always a punk rock device. It represented a true moment of freedom. When I was younger, I could conviently be out of quarters or suddenly unable to find these things when I was running around the city after curfew

The best thing about the original Pay-as-You-Go; meant that moments spent together were never interrupted by something typed by someone else's thumbs

March 16, 2009 - Spring Cleaning Edition

Ah, Spring Cleaning season is almost upon us and I've started early. Yesterday, I was having a candid conversation about French Maid costumes and I argued that they are simply not a functional uniform for cleaning; they are meant for other things. Case in point, I couldn't dust in six inch heels, I doubt that anyone would want too either. Or else they'd be selling these outfits over at Home Depot

I made the mistake of typing in "french maid" into google to find an image and the results were *ahem* interesting. I had to edit this image a few times over in photoshop to make it decent. Anyway, spring cleaning has already started over at this website! In the initial exicted haze of internet crazyness, I piled a ton of pictures on to the server in a shotgun attempt to figure out how to post properly. I finally cleaned that mess up

The revamped fiction, poetry, and flexxed heads sections are techincally working but the design elements are being worked on and so is the content

March 14, 2009 - Taking Time to Breathe Edition

Everything is slowly becoming reality. Hopefully, a new article will be up tomorrow and work on the back end is still resolving itself. Special thanks to Jackson for the mock-up of a Flexxed Heads music track, a little tightening up and some mastering - it will be golden. If you are confused; don't worry, it'll eventually be posted up here along with the lyrics...it'll all become clear soon

March 13, 2009 - Friday the 13th Edition

Yup, Controller Punch is going to be the newest game review/show to hit the interwebs hosted by me and Andy. Who hasn't wanted to bust their controller every once in a while? Behind the scenes, I've been tirelessly working on video editing and footage collection. Our first games on the hit list are none other than the ultra-violent Madworld and the already classic Street Fighter IV. Sega Shiro will also see its first Saturn video review up soon. Andy crafted this gif up and tirelessly edited it for me into the animated state above

Well, the light is coming up on an evil Friday...a lot of background work is being worked on this site as we speak. I've been looking into subdomain hosting for the manuscript and comment boxes, trying to figure out the best way of implementing onto this site. Wish me luck

March 9, 2009 - When Game Consoles Cry Edition

A new article from the Gamer Access is up and running in the review section entitled: Are PS3 Exclusives Cursed? Check it out, Andy crafted up the "cursed" PS3 image; a true classic. He also crafted me this epic red fist which we will be seeing more of in the near future

March 6, 2009 - DJ FOB FRESH REMIX Edition

Who is DJ FOB FRESH? His writing style seems oh-so-familiar

This is a bit of a mini update, SegaShiro is still in beta stages but has 4 or 5 whole blog posts up, so check it out: www.segashiro.com

I've put up all of the articles up in the review section from my past and current writing history. If one of the links doesn't work give me a shout out at: lexicon.bomb@gmail.com. Scroll down on this page if you have yet to check out the little bit of manuscript I posted a few days ago

March 4, 2009 - Oh, How the Mighty have Fallen Edition

Not that I have anything against Batman (He's awesome), just one of these days Superman isn't going to pull his punches. I don't need to convince you of Batman's obvious flaws; Ran and Andy can do it for me. I'm feeling generous, so here is a little taste of the manuscript, unedited I might add - ENJOY

Batman vs. Superman

Feel free to write comments to: lexicon.bomb@gmail.com

March 2, 2009 - I wish I was Playing PS3 Edition

Between Birthdays (Happy Brithday Andy!), Killzone 2 reviews, preparing for upcoming job interviews, and AQ courses - I've been running on fumes in all areas. Behind the scenes, the stories in PDF form are starting to come together and segashiro.com is almost functional. Things will pick up after March when the courses are off my plate

Images and artwork are going full steam ahead and it is picking up on the slack that's happening on the writing side. Blame run-ins with Street FIghter IV. I wish I had time to play PS3

February 24, 2009 - Poster/T-shirt/Book Teaser Edition

Working Title: East End Grey

A collection of interconnected stories (episodic fiction?) that feature a group of East End Toronto punks. Any guesses on their band name? More teasers soon - i gotta get back to enlightening myself educationally

February 23, 2009 - Study, Study, Study Edition

Acting all the Automation

In the next couple of weeks, I hope to have PDF stories online for you guys to read and comment on. The goal here is to create enough of a fanbase so I can approach the publishers with some confidence. So tell your friends, word to your Mom, and let's unleash the kittens. Eventually parts of the manuscript will be put up for you to check out

I'm going to keep updating all the sections through the week in between all the other junk I have to do. Writing hasn't quite ever paid any of my bills, but we'll change all that right? Eventually, events and street teams will commence

February 22, 2009 - I am the Interwebs Edition

The website is finally live

Marred by a thousand delays, the website now breathes. Special thanks to Meiqi who is no longer making webpages but made this one - your skills are missed. Special thanks also goes out to Davy, without you this webpage would be owned by someone else. If you've been wondering where I've been; I've been writing and doing silly stuff like getting second degrees

Writing is a lot like a waking coma

Every day, I try to add to manuscript madness. The characters of Ran and Andy are still engaging in Punk Prankerisms so check back for updates and writing

August 28, 2007 - Death of 1000 Hard Drives Edition

Believe it or not the website was actually done way back in August. Two years ago. Blame the Cylons. I do

delicious fiction i'm a poet and I know it reviews reviews reviews... my queen's degree and other stuff back to news
